Phyllis Slater-Paquette,a Muskegon native and member of the Muskegon Big Red class of 1967, died May 6, 2021, in Scottsdale, Az. after a courageous five-year battle with ovarian cancer.the fifth of eight children to Leroy and Jessie Slater. She leaves behind her husband, Ron Paquette, and stepdaughters: Kim (Aaron) Fowler and grandchildren Lily and Zachary; Angela Leroux and grandchildren Ethan, Emma, Abby, and Ben.
