Marc passed away either 67 or 68.  I am pretty sure he was in the Navy at that time so a flag should be added to his profile.

In 1990 my wife (Olga) created a singing group for local kids to perform. They were called "The Young and Restless" and one of those kids was Marc Topping and his sister Katie also joined. Come to find out he was named after his uncle (Marc Topping) who was in the Navy and died in a auto accident in 1971, before little Mark was born. Mark is a fireman I believe for Norton Shores. He went to Mona Shores schools along with our sons, one of our sons was also in the group. I believe his dad is named Ron. My wife confirmed this with Marc just recently in Face Book. Hope this is of some help.

Marc and I caused a little havoc in classes, especially Mrs. Hall's English class. With him being a "T" and me being an "S", we often sat near each other. I remember that he was one of the youngest from our class to die, and it definitely struck me hard. Great memories from MHS though. It seems that he married someone from the Class of '67...
