passed away Monday, July 5, 2004, in Holland. Jim was born February 4, 1949, to Thomas and Dorothy (Schutter) Vedders in Muskegon. He was a Michigan State University Alumni, where he received a degree in Parks and Recreation Management. He lived in Muskegon for several years, where he worked for the city, his last position being in Parks and Cemetery. He then moved to Fremont, where he was the Director of Public Works for 17 years.
