Danny Pohl and I went to Moon School together. He had a love of basket ball.  I believe he had polio as a young child.  This hampered his ability as an athelete, but not his enthusiasm.  I often saw Danny out on the courts playing basket ball with a group of guys.  He was always in the game.  He didn't allow his handicap to stop him.  He had more heart than a lot of athelets that had better physical skills,

Too many of our class are passing away at rather young age.  Danny, I hope you are playing hoops on that big court in the sky.

I remember Dan from 6th grade, great kid, easy going and friendly.

I remember Dan walking to the corner with us as we had to walk to Ray Street and Dan just had to walk across the street. He was such a nice friend at Moon School. Thanks for being my friend Dan, Marlene Parker Pendell

I also remeber Danny so well. He was just the nicest guy. I'd forgotten how we used to tell him he was lucky to live so close to school because we had to walk a mile back and forth for lunch. My sincerest condolences to his family.
