Of Clarklake, MI, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, February 10, 2026 and is survived by his wife of 57 years, Peggy (Battige) Bennitt who is also from Class of '67! three children: Jason (Amy) of Atlanta, GA., Justin (Marci) of Toledo, OH, and Leah (Sean) Anderson of Jackson, MI; four grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3637 Spring Arbor Road, Saturday, February 21, 2026. Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The service will be at 11:00 a.m., with a meal following.
