I remember meeting Dan in 5th grade in Mrs. Nixon's class room, Moon School.  His family had just moved to Muskegon so he joined during the school year.  We went to Junior High and of course High School together.  Dan was an excellent baseball and basket ball player as well as a good student.  I was looking forward to chatting with him at the 50th reunion.  My condolances to his wife and family.

I recommected with Dan a couple of years ago on Facebook. It was so nice to see that he was happy with his life. He golfed all over the world, it appeared, and I never saw a picture of him without a smile on his face.
I must admit that I had a bit of a crush on him when we went to school together, as, I am sure, many of the girls did. He was always pleasant and I don't remember him ever saying a bad thing about anyone.
He will be missed. My condolences to his wife, family, and friends.

I  too met Dan at Moon School. We were in 4 th grade and had Mrs  Lenenga.  I still have our sixth grade picture. Then he went to Nelson and I went to Steele.i again saw him at high school. I too met up with him on Facebook. I enjoyed his pictures and seeing all the people he posted from school. He was always such a nice guy and will be missed by all at the reunion. My sympathies to Janice his, wife, and his kids. You had a wonderful father and husband.

I used to play basketball with Dan during lunch hour at Nelson.  We were both about the same height, so we usually  ended up guarding each other.  I didn't want to admit it then, but he was always better than me.  I also really enjoyed golfing in a foursome with Dan, Bob Ritcheske and Larry Decker at our last class reunion.  He was a great guy, and was a good friend to many.  I'll miss seeing him at the 50th.    Dave

It was so great to spend almost the entire time at our last reunion sitting with and talking with Danny and Carol Kinnucan.  Carol I have know a long time.  Danny I met in H.S.  I will always remember him coming down the hall with that Colgate bright white smile that covered him entire face.  He was definitly the cutest boy in the class of 1967.  I always envied Patty Rutz.  But what a darling couple they were.  I shall miss Danny, his beautiful smile, and those gorgeious basketball legs.  Danny's family will be in my thoughts and prayers continously.  See you in the promise land with the rest of our class.  Blessings, Peggy (Kuberski) Boltz
