Happy Birthday !!!

Per John Usmial’s request here is the rest of the story: After graduating from MHS, I joined the US Air Force and served as an Air (Security) Police. In the four years that I served, I was deployed for 16 months in Tripoli, Libya and 12 months in DaNang Vietnam. The balance of my service was spent at two bases in California (VandenBerg AFB and Beale AFB). Upon my discharge in “71” I worked in at Shaw Walker and attended MCC at night and received my Associates Degree in Marketing/Middle Management. I then began working in the sales field. I was fortunate enough to work in international sales for both Lift-Tech International and Howmet and got to visit my customers in both Europe, Scandinavia and Southeast Asia. I retired at the age of 55 and have volunteered for many veterans organizations - Harbor Hospice (Veterans Representative), LST 393 (Vice President of the BOD), PBR 7331 (BOD), Commander for VFW 446 and the Muskegon County Councel - VFW, in which I have participated (Honor Guard) in over 1,500 funerals for veterans in Muskegon County. That being said, my biggest accomplishment in my life was organizing and being chairman of the “Legends Flight” in 2014. This was an “Honor Flight” which took 96 WWII veterans on a one day round trip to Washington DC at absolutely “no charge”, to visit the WWII Memorial, Arlington Cemetery, Vietnam and Korean Memorial. To do this my committee raised $135 K and these Veterans were given first class treatment the entire day. It was a day that they will never forget, nor will I.
If you have received an email from me in the past two days, please delete it immediately. My email account has been hacked and I am sorry for the inconvenience it is causing everyone. That being said, I am hearing from old friends that I haven’t talked to in 10+ years. Once again - I do seriously apologize.
